Mrs. Dell Holden, 61, wife of Newell Holden, living in Ionia township, northeast of Ionia, died most unexpectedly Wednesday morning of an acute heart attack.

She was born in Boston township. Before her marriage she taught in the schools of Ionia county and about the state.
Friday she would have celebrated her thirtieth wedding anniversary. Surviving is a brother, Charles Reasoner of Ronald, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral services will be conducted from the home Sunday at 1:30 and at the North Plains community church at 2 o'clock, eastern standard time. The interment will be in the North Plains Cemetery.
