WASHINGTON - Clare E. Boldon, 91, of Washington, formerly of LeRoy, died at 9:15 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, at Washington Christian Village, Washington.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, 101 W. Center St., LeRoy. The Rev. Danny Earl Mercer will officiate. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington. There will be a public visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mrs. Boldon was born Dec. 5, 1915, in Lead, S.D. She was the daughter of John and Anna (Nelson) Auspsetter. She married Charley O. Boldon on May 12, 1934, in Canton, Ohio. He preceded her in death in 1970.

She is survived by one daughter, Joan Mercer of Washington; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and five sisters.

She was a member of the Highview Christian Church, Washington, and the Eastern Star Chapter of LeRoy.
