Luther J. CLABAUGH b. 2/9/1860 in Faribault Co, MN. d. 10/8/1893 in Verona Twp, Faribault Co, MN. Consumption (obit) CLABAUGH - Luther J. Clabaugh was born in Faribault County, Minn. Feb. 9th, 1860 and died in Verona Oct. 8, 1893, of consumption, after a long and painful sickness.
In Nov. 1883 he united in marriage with Sarah Stauffer. To them was born four children, who together with the beloved companion mourn their irreparable loss. Deceased was a good citizen, a benevolent and kindhearted neighbor, an affectionate companion and father. Since Jan. 28, 1882, he has been an honored and worthy member of Winnebago City Lodge No. 30 I.O.O.F.
The funeral under the auspices of Order took place on Tuesday from the U.B. church, Nashville, conducted by Rev. R. N. Brown of Verona and was largely attended. A bereaved companion and four small children, an aged mother, and five sisters are left to mourn his early demise. Our brother entered the shades of Death in hope of a blessed mortality by faith in Christ. May he rest in Peace. R. N. B.

She died on 25 Jan 1948 in St. Peter Hosp, MN. Blue Earth, Farib. Co Recs, MN She was buried in Basey Cem, Faribault Co, MN. Luther J. CLABAUGH and Sarah Elizabeth STAUFFER had the following children:
i. Nora V. CLABAUGH.
ii. Eunice (Ema?) Lucy CLABAUGH.
iii. Mary 'Ethyl' CLABAUGH.
iv. Jay Archie CLABAUGH.
