"Word was received here of the death of Mrs. Viola Yarter (sic), 50, a former resident of Council Bluffs and daughter of Fred Palmerton of 1704 Avenue G.
"She died at a Des Moines rest home Thursday. She was a native of Council Bluffs and attended Thomas Jefferson High School.
"Other survivors include: husband, Charles of Des Moines; two brothers, Fred, Jr. of Council Bluffs and Tom of Omaha; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Thacker of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Irene O'Hara of Des Moines."
