Married Camilla O'Quinn January 12, 1847, Washington County GA.

Doctor Franklin Giles died December 4, 1862 in St. John's Hospital in Little Rock, AR of typhoid fever. In 1870 Camilla is head of household, living in Rusk County with eight of her children. She later remarried to William Reynolds and resided in Van Zandt County, TX in 1880. in 1890 she was living in Freestone County, TX with her son Daniel Morgan Giles.

Children: Candace, William Bryant, Daniel Morgan, Rachel, John A., Andrew Jackson, James Franklin, Jefferson Davis.
