Minnie Naoma Pease, daughter of Joseph and Luara (Howe) Pease, sh e was born October 1, 1891 in Topeka, Kansas, died aged 63 years, 11 months and 21 days. She came to Nebraska with her parents when she was three years old, and the family settled on a timber claim two miles south of Arnold, where they made their home for six years.

Her mother died when she was a small girl, and she lived with her relatives until she was married to Lewis A. Simons on January 15, 1900. One son, Raymond M. Simons, was born to this marriage.

Mr. Simons died on March 24, 1927 and Mrs. Simons lived in Arnold until she married to Truman Lucian Smith on November 2, 1930. She lived on the Smith farm until April 1, 1941 when the family moved to Arnold, where she had lived ever since.

She is survived by her husband; her son, Raymond Simons of Arnold , by two sisters, Mrs. Ida Pease of North Platte and Mrs. Ella Rich , Modesto, California; 3 granddaughters, 3 stepsons, 1 step daughter , their families, many other relatives and friends.
