Lillian was born to parents William and Fannie (Hutson) Koenig. She worked as a seamstress at The Curtain Shop. At home, she often made clothes for nieces Janet and Cheryl Walsh, who called her Aunt Tatty. She never married.

OBITUARY
Nov. 30, 1957, Evansville Press:
Miss Lillian Martha Koenig, 54, an employe of the Curtain Shop for eight years, died at 5:30 p.m. yesterday in Deaconess Hospital.

Miss Koenig had suffered a heart attack yesterday while shopping during her lunch hour. She was taken to the home of a niece, Mrs. Frances Walsh, 501 Wedeking-av, and later taken to the hospital where she died.

Nieces and nephews also survive.

The body will be at Browning Memorial Chapel after 6 tonight.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday from Browning Memory Chapel, the Rev. Dr. Armin Haeussler officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
