Mrs. Alice Turner Of Quitman Dies

QUITMAN, (Spl.) - Mrs. Alice Theania Turner, 85, died Friday at the Quitman home of her daughter, Mrs. J. M. Blalock, after an illness of one week.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Concord Baptist church with rev. Charles Moore and Rev. H. L. Lee officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery.

The Cain Funeral Home is in charge of services.

Mrs. Turner was born Oct. 12, 1871, in Quitman and has been a resident of that county all her life. she was a member of Liberty Methodist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. J. M. Blalock of Quitman; seven sons, George Turner of Quitman, Less Turner and Jess Turner of Tyler, Elgin Turner of Mineola, W. A. Turner of Hawkins, Fred Turner of fort Worth and Jimmie Turner of Talco; one step-sister, Mrs. Ida Williams of La Mesa; a half-brother, Joe Wright of San Antonio; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Alice Turner Of Quitman Dies

QUITMAN, (Spl.) - Mrs. Alice Theania Turner, 85, died Friday at the Quitman home of her daughter, Mrs. J. M. Blalock, after an illness of one week.
