NATCHITOCHES - Otis
Robert Cew, 74, formerly of
Natchitoches, died in a Baton
Rouge nursing home Friday.
Funeral service will be at
2 p.m. Sunday in Blanchard
St. Denis Funeral Home
chapel with the Rev. James
Lamar Thomasee officiating.
Burial will be in the Proven-
cal Cemetery.
Survivers include two sons,
Carroll Crew and Alvin O.
Crew, both of Alexandria;
three brothers, Owen Crew
of Orlando, Fla., and Hubert
Crew of Fort Worth, Tex.;
seven grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Crew tught in Nat-
chitoches Parish schools for a
number of years and was a
former principal at Cypress.
He also taught at North-
western State University. He
retired from NSU as registrar
in 1968.
