John passed away peacefully at his favourite place on May 13 2009 aged 73. Loving husband to Tilly, step-dad to Keith and Susan. Grandad to Howard and Leigh. Funeral service to take place on Monday June 1 at St Peters Church 2.00pm followed by Weston Road Cemetery.

John was a veteran of the British Army. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society were requested; John was full time caregiver to his wife, Tilly, who is suffering from the disease.
