Funeral services for William D. Fudge, 63, of 1624 West Central, who died Sunday, were conducted this morning at the Dietz-Pittman Colonial Chapel.
The Rev. W. Frank Aten, pastor of the First Christian church, officiated. Mrs. Verne Whitby, organist, accompanied Mrs. Baxter Logan, who sang "How Great Thou Art" and "Beyond the Sunset".
Casket bearers were Gene Davis, Bob Doerflinger, Ivan Marshall, Robert Runsey, Glenn Berryman and Lawrence Welty. Honorary bearers were T. L. Farmer, A.W. Honn, Charles Hudson, H.B. Moss, Noel Russell, Frank Knust, Harvey Kimberlin, Chris Stackley, Chester O'Bryan and Ruben Loos.
Following the service, rites were conducted by El Dorado Lodge No. 74, 100F, with A.M. Redburn, noble grand, and Leonard Hauser, chaplin, in charge. At the graveside, Fred Smith and Glenwood A. Diets served as flag folders at military rites. Groups attending in a body included the I00F, Rebekah and Golden Age club.
Burial was in Elmwood cemetery at Augusta.
