R.S. Bell, formerly of Decatur, died in Wichita, Kansas Sept. 7. He was 80 years old. Mr. Bell moved to Wichita many years ago. He leaves a son, C.F. Bell and two daughters of Los Angeles. Funeral services and burial took place in Wichita.
Mr. Bell, at one time, was turnkey at the Macon county jail. He followed the optical business in Wichita for many years.
Mr. Bell was a first Lieutenant of Co. B, of 41st Ill. Vol. Inf.
