Keith had an incredibly funny sense of humor and was very talented when it came to art (drawing, sketching). He loved everyone and if you ever met him you would not ever forget him, his sense of humor, or his beautiful smile. When Keith smiled it lit up a room and you could not help but feel happy. He had a way of tipping over even the most somber persons giggle box. He loved nature and animals but most of all he loved his family and friends. Keith was a great help to me when he came to Montana and helped me with my horse rescue. His gentleness with the horses was how he was with people too. His life was like a whirlwind, beautiful, energetic, and much too short. We miss him very much and love to think of him up in Heaven entertaining all our loved ones who have passed on before us and look forward to the day we are all together again.

Cause of death Unintentional suicide

He had been incarcerated on a minor charge and died in jail. As an obvious cry for help, he tried to hang himself knowing that there was a camera in his cell. But the jail personnel were doing something other than their job and no one was watching. Only after watching the tape later did they realize that this had happened 18 hours before. I'm sure that Keith thought that they would see him and come help him - take him somewhere and get him some help. I don't believe he ever meant to die. - he was crying for help. It is unbelievable to me that a person in charge of a facility could have neglected to check on the people in their care for 18 hours. It was a small town jail with only a handful of prisoners. It is indefensible.
