OWEN W. CRUMPACKER, 34, a former Colorado Springs resident, died Sept. 15, 1997, in Denver. He was the owner of two GMC Health Products franchises.
Visitation will be held Sunday in Aurora; a Mass and luncheon will be Monday in Parker. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. A dessert reception will follow at the Olympian Plaza Reception Center, 975 S. Union Blvd. Entombment will be at Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum Gate of Heaven.
Mr. Crumpacker was born Sept. 21, 1962, in Denver to Thomas Turner and Sharon Ruth (Russell) Crumpacker. His father lives in Carbondale and his mother, Sharon Quay, lives in Edina, Minn.
He was married Sept. 19, 1992, in Denver to Janice Irene DiFrancia, who lives in Parker.
He also is survived by two half-sisters, Casey and Cully; maternal grandmother, Gwendolyn M. Russell of Colorado Springs; paternal grandmother, Rose T. of Carbondale; and four aunts. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Thomas J. Russell and Fred.
Mr. Crumpacker graduated from the College of Santa Fe. He enjoyed whitewater rafting, skiing and fishing.
He deeply loved his family and friends, who in turn cherished and admired him for his loving and sunny nature and true concern for others.
Mr. Crumpacker had lived in Colorado Springs from 1978 to 1980 and from 1987 to 1989.
