    Walter Napolski Age 82, of Wilmington, DE, died on Saturday, September 11, 2004 at Saint Francis Hospital.
    Mr. Napolski retired from the DuPont Company after more than 30 years as a carpenter. Walter was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and he received a Purple Heart for wounds he suffered at Kwajalein. He also received the Asiatic Pacific Theater Campaign Medal with 4 Bronze Service Stars and a Distinguished Unit Badge. He was a member of the Veterans of-Foreign Wars and Saint John the Beloved Church, where he served as an usher.
    Walter was predeceased by his son, Walter, Jr., on September 13, 1990.
    Mr. Napolski is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sophie (Ogonowski) Napolski; his son, Richard and his wife, Bridget, of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Noreen Esposito and her husband, Robert, and Richard Napolski, Jr. and his wife, Tara; and his great grandchildren, Derek and Vincent Esposito.
    Mass of Christian Burial will be held n Wednesday morning at 10 am at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington. Friends may call at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, Limestone and Milltown Roads, on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery.
    In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to either St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington, DE 19808 or Our Lady of Grace Home, 487 East Chestnut Hill Road, Newark, DE 19713.
