LADY LAKE — Iris Imogene From, 81, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2013.
Mrs. From, born April 10, 1932, in Columbus, GA, was a published author who worked as a real estate agent. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Member of DAR chapter "Oklawaha Chapter."
Survivors include her husband, Earl; daughters Constance Schorr, Columbus, and Melanie Towne, Lady Lake; one grandson; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.

Iris Imogene From, 81, of Lady Lake, Florida passed away on Monday, November 4, 2013. Iris was born in Columbus, Georgia on April 10, 1932 to the late Brasher Netherland and Alice Spradlen of Columbus, Georgia. She was a successful real estate agent, had a deep passion for geneology and served many significant roles in the local Florida DAR. She was a member of DAR chapter "Oklawaha Chapter." She was most proud of having her book published. Iris is preceded in death by her son, William Brasher Schorr, of Seldovia, Alaska. She is survived by her devoted husband Earl Eugene From of Lady Lake, Florida; daughters, Constance Marie Schorr of Columbus, Georgia; Melanie Jill Towne of Lady Lake, Florida; a grandson, Billy Harrell Davis of Federal Way, Washington; and 4 great grandchildren. Donations may be made to either the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
