Richard M. "Richie" Lalli

Singer. A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was a member of the musical group, "Four Epics." He replaced bass Bobby Riccobene in 1962. Originally a back up group they sang for the Laurie on such recordings as, 'Again,' and 'Dance Joanne.' They recorded for the Cameo-Parkway Label, sang on Johnny Greco's hit, 'Rocket Ride,' they recorded two songs for the Vespers in 1963, and in 1964 they recorded, 'Oh Baby Mine,' as "The Dreamlovers," for the Cameo-Parkway Label. In 1964 they also recorded the song, 'Amazons and Coyotes,' as the group, "Swan," in 1965 they recorded, 'M&M,' as the group, "Exodus," and finally that same year they recorded 'You Cheated,' on the Wand Label. He died in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey, at the age of 62. (bio by: K)
