Born in Cranbourne, Quebec, Canada to Episcopalian parents Thomas Neptune (born 1815 in England) and Bridget McClintick (born 1826 in Ireland) Routh who came into Maine in 1870; married Terence/Terry Martin 21APR1875 and had children:
*Jennie Mae, born 1876, married Sidney Smith Gilman and had Susan Gilman Snelt, Effie E (married McLaughlin & had daughter Jean in 1931), and Malcolm who died as a baby; 2nd married Henry/Harry Sedgley, and died in Lynn, MA in 1963
*Susan, 1877, married Herbert Kerfoot @ Pleasant Pond, died in birth of daughter Jessie in 1902
*James E., 1878, married Rosana Gorman
*Willie E., born 1881, married Alma Steward and had children James E. (1905 ~ married Jennie Hunnewell in 1936), Warren Adelbert (1908 ~ married Eleanor Rollins in 1929, but she was living with her parents in 1930 census while Warren was living under the name Adelbert with his gramma Ida Steward; I sense some family displeasure :-), & Herbert W. (1918 ~ married Geraldine Berry in 1942); father Terry was living with him in the 1930 census while step-mother Effie was living in Kennebec County.
Willie lived to be 96, dying in Bingham in 1977; Warren died same in 1982 and Herbert in 1985.
