She was born Nov. 28, 1931, in Goodland, Kan., the daughter of the late Egbert and Myrtle (Campbell) Bigelow.
Miss, Schwartz was a switchboard operator for New York Telephone, AT&T and Verizon for 24 years.
She waqs a member of the Napoli United Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society, and loved her dog, Suzie and knitting and crochet.
She is survived by a son, Ronald (Darlene) Schwartz of Springville; five daughters: Barbara (James) Scott and Betty (Ronald) Wasmund, both of Cattaraugus, Cindy (Chuck) West of South Dayton, Wendy (Martin) Waite of Raleigh, N.C., and Susan Cobo of Goose Creek, S.C.; a special friend, Alan Cobo; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren with one on the way; two brothers: Jerry (Bonnie) Bigelow of Napoli, and Donald ( Barbara) Bigelow of Medina, N.Y.; a sister, Janice (Roger) Fryling of Cheektowaga; and several nieces and nephews.
