Drew C. Kehoe, 66, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, just one day short of his 67th birthday.
He was born in Butte on Jan. 4, 1942, to Andrew and Ruth Kehoe. He received his education in Butte schools.
Drew worked for the Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department for more than 20 years and retired as a captain. He then worked for School District 1 as a bus driver.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, gambling and working in his yard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Ruth Kehoe and a brother, Dave Kehoe.
Drew was a soft spoken, kind and gentle man who will be dearly missed by all who knew him and by his beloved pet, Mopsy.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Linda, of Butte; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Claire and Fred Schacht; niece, Heidi Schacht, all of Loveland, Colo.; nephew and his wife, Kent and Courtney Schacht of Garrison, N.Y.; brother-in-law, Terry (Sharon) Schuartliff and their children, Steve and Merah Schuartliff; nephews, Dan and Robert Adams, all of Butte.
Relatives and friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday in the Duggan Dolan Chapel, where parish vigil services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Funeral Liturgy of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Patrick's Church.
Memorials are requested to Paul Clark Home, Highlands Hospice or the Humane Society.
