Harlan Adolph Graeber, 53, longtime Roberts resident, died Saturday morning at the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City.
He was born Oct. 21, 1908 in Dickens, Neb. When a small boy he moved with his parents to Miles City, Mont. From there the family moved to Roberts where Mr. Graeber has resided for more that 30 years.
He appeared in the European Theatre in World War II.
He had been employed by R.E. Foster of Roberts for about 20 years.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Dorothy Graeber; a son, Charles, two daughters, Feroll and Nancy, all at home; a sister, Mrs. Ester Black, Spokane; two nieces, Mrs. Bailey Butler, Lewiston, and Mrs. Viola Cline, Heron, Mont.
Funeral services will be held at the Roberts Community Church Thursday. Friends may view the remains at the church from 2 to 3 p.m. Services will begin at 3 with the Rev. Julia Brand of Dubois officiating.
Veterans of Foreign Wars will conduct the graveside services at the Fielding Memorial Park in Idaho Falls.
