Imogene Sharp O'Neal, 79, of Palestine, Texas died June 7, 2008, at Palestine Regional Medical Center. Burial in Palestine City Cemetery was under the direction of Bailey and Foster Funeral Home, Palestine. She was born March 5, 1929 to Arthur C. and Trilby Ann May Sharp. Mrs. O'Neal was a nurse and worked for Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. O'Neal was preceded by her parents; her husband Hal Everett O'Neal in 2004; a son, Hal David O'Neal in 1951; and sisters, Virginia Kelly and Mary Wynn. She is survived by her daughter Joy Lee Adamcik and husband Larry of Palestine; son, Hal Philip O'Neal and wife Charla of Elkhart; and grandchildren, Landon O'Neal, Jacob O'Neal and Destanie Adamcik. Mrs. O'Neal leaves behind many friends. She was a help mate to many and a joy to everyone who was fortunate to know her. Pallbearers will be Larry Adamcik, Keith Crawford, Keith Sims, Jamie Miller, Earnest Vasquez, and H.C. Langston.
