Motorcycle accident fatal to teen
Eighteen-year-old Thomas John Call, son of Mr and Mrs Spencer P. Call, Afton, died early Wednesday morning, Oct 19 of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident Tuesday evening, in Idaho.
According to Fremont, Idaho County Sheriff's Deputy, Brian Loseke, Tomm had been jumping his motorcycle on the sand dunes southwest of the T Bar T Resort when his rear tire caught on the hill, throwing hi over the handle bars. T;he Fremont County Sheriff's department, the Fremont County Ambulance Service and the Search and Rescue Unit all responded to the scene, at 6:48 p.m. where Tomm was treated and then transported to the Riverview Hospital in Idaho Falls. Tomm died at 1 a.m.
Tomm a Rick College student, graduated from Star Valley High School this past spring.
Funeral services will be conducted under the direction of the Afton Second LDS Ward Bishopric on Saturday, Oct 22 at 1 p.m. at the Afton Second-third Ward Church. The family will meet friends on Saturday prior to the funeral services, Tomm's father reported.
