Gary is survived by his son Bret Larson and his wife Teri of Yucaipa, Calif.; grandsons, Bradley and Brian Larson, both of Loma Linda, Calif.; sisters, Barb (Gordy) Schultz of Mankato, Minn., Judy (Sam) Musfeldt of Manning, Mary Wigness of Valley, Neb., and Cheri Watson of Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Harriett Porter Harris; step-father Lewis Larson; one sister and one brother.
Gary Ronald Larson was born Dec. 24, 1938, at Des Moines. He graduated from Sac City High School. In 1956, he served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1962. In 1958, he was united in marriage to Dolores "Dee" Heinlen Larson and they divorced in 1988. Gary drove truck for twenty-six years and the last nine years for Keim Transportation of Sabetha, Kansas. He retired in 2000. He was a lifetime member of AmVets.
