Edward T. Moyer, 73, Humboldt, Kansas, died Monday, February 8, 2010, at St. John's Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
He was born April 12, 1936, to Ken and Arvilla Moyer.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1960.
He operated Elmer's Van & Storage in Long Beach, California. He retired and moved to Humboldt, KS in 1997 where he worked as a bartender at The Hideaway and Step On Inn.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Stephen Ohanesian, of Fresno, CA; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Moyer, of Dyersville, IA; six grandchildren, Michael, Kaitlin, and Stephen Ohanesian, of Fresno, CA, April Moyer, of San Francisco, CA, Amber Kreischer and Troy Moyer, of Round Rock, TX; and a great-grandson, General Moyer, of San Francisco, CA.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Charlie Moyer; and a son, Scott Moyer.
Mr. Moyer donated his body to science. No services are planned.
