Jason Reid Wiberg, 19, died on Sunday, August 25, 2013 in Kuching, Malaysia due to injuries sustained in an accident. He was currently serving as a full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved the people of Malaysia. He was born August 29, 1993 in Ogden, Utah to Reid Page and Janice Brown Wiberg. He had lived in Utah, Indiana, Minnesota and spent most of his childhood in Cookeville, Tennessee. He graduated from Roy High School in 2012. His desire was to become a police officer. He worked as an intern with the Roy City Police and loved every minute he was able to patrol with those officers. He has also worked at Roy Elementary and as a paper carrier for the Standard-Examiner. He was active in the church his whole life. He had earned his Duty to God award. He had a tender heart especially for those who needed a friend. In his youth he was active in scouting and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He earned his Varsity Scout Letter and was a Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow. He enjoyed the outdoors. He had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed watching movies and participating in air soft wars. He is survived by his parents, two brothers, Page Thomas (Megan) Wiberg, Parley Ross Wiberg, one sister, Marcell Lynnette Wiberg, one grandfather, Keith X Brown, one grandmother, Beverly V. Wiberg and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, DeLell Brown, "second" grandmother, Lani Brown, grandfather, Dean P. Wiberg, aunt, Joyce Parkinson, and two cousins. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 4th at 11 a.m. at the Roy Utah West Stake Center, 5080 South 3100 West. A viewing will be held Tuesday, September 3rd from 5 to 8 p.m.at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
