Kathleen J. Tabor, 74, of Stevensville passed away on Saturday, February 24 2007 at home.
Kathleen was born on April 24, 1932, at Crump, Mi. to Amos and Sarah (Hart) Graverette.
She was a Tribal Member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling, camping and fishing. She loved life and lived every minute to the fullest.
She is survived by her children, Gregory, Brenda , Brian and Jocelyn : a sister Virginia Pigeon ; nine grandchildren: 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Rebecca Lee Dean; and three brothers, William Graveratte, James Graverette, Joesph Graverette, and Moses Graverette
Per her wishes a cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating her life was held on Friday, March 2 at Kerley-Starks & Merchinger Family Funeral Home, St. Joseph, Michigan.
Ashes where scattered one year later on Paw Paw Lake, Coloma, Michigan. Mom, it gave me great comfort knowing that you where on that pontoon you so loved to fish from. We anchored in the cove facing your favorite restaurant you ate at.
