Obituary: GROVER C. LIPSCOMB -
Grover C. Lipscomb, 43, Howesville,W.Va., died Thursday, June 28, 2001, as the result of a traffic accident near Brandonville, W.Va.
Born May 7, 1954, in Garrett County, he was a son of Helena (White) Lipscomb, Howesville, and the late Samuel A. Lipscomb. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
He was an employee of Preston Sanitation and worked as a grave digger. He was Methodist by faith.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Bertha White, Corinth, W.Va.; three brothers, Arnold Lipscomb, Parsons, W.Va., Bradley Lipscomb, Kingwood, W.Va., and Herbert Lipscomb, Tunnelton, W.Va.; and five sisters, Cheryl Moats, Parsons, Bertha Lipscomb, Dover, Pa., Martha Roby, Masontown, W.Va., Karen Lipscomb, Kingwood, and Loria Lipscomb, Tunnelton.
Friends were received at the Browning Funeral Home, Kingwood, where a service was conducted Sunday, July 1, with the Rev. Rotha Hall officiating. Interment was in the Aurora (W.Va.) Cemetery.
