She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Geraldine Smith; sister and brother-in-law, Anita and Dusty Myers, all of Charleston; and stepson, David Mynhier of Florida
Surviving are her husband, Gene; brothers, James and wife, Julia, of Glen Allen, Va., and Bob and wife, Jean, of Naples, Fla.; sister, Della Horton of Charleston; grandchildren, Jeremy and wife, Adrianna, and Lucas and Makayla, of Nitro, Matthew and wife, Hannah, and daughter, Molly Beth, of Knoxville, Tenn., Emily Chandler of St. Albans and Sarah Mynhier of Winter Park, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Twila retired in January 2002 from Union Carbide-Dow. She worked for the State of West Virginia, Goodrich Gulf, Charleston National Bank, Kroger Real Estate, and Union Carbide. Due to closing of Kroger Real Estate and Goodrich Gulf moving out of state, her husband tried to tell her not to go to work at Carbide, but she wouldn't listen.
There will be a viewing at Wilson Funeral Home on Sunday, Oct. 12, from 1 to 4 p.m. There will no memorial service, as she will be cremated. This was her request.
