Born Sept. 1, 1954, in Pekin to Charles "Jack" and Marjorie Ann (Stauffer) Vaughn, she married Jim Bohannon on April 3, 1976, in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Jamie (Bryan) Lindsey and Dawn (Christopher) Allen; three grandchildren, Dilon Allen, Conor Allen and Cathi Allen; three sisters, Lori (Tom) Larimore, Sharon Bishop and Shelly (Jim) Williamson; one brother, Denny (Joy) Vaughn and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her best friends, Diane Stone, Paula Pope and Nancy Healy.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Deanne was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Pekin.
She had worked at Walmart in Pekin for 25 years, working in the deli, last working in September. She previously ran the snack bar at the former Walmart.
Deanne loved to watch her grandkids play sports and spend time with her family. She enjoyed shopping, playing Yahtzee and her monthly girl's night out. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory. Pastor John Vaughn will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
