Mrs. Irene Atkinson, age 79, died Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at Doctors Hospital in Augusta after a long illness. She was a native of Bulloch County and a member of True Born Church of God in Christ Deliverance Center.
Mrs. Atkinson leaves to cherish her memory, two granddaughters, Candelyn Bailey, Norfolk, Va., and Candace (Keith) Arachikavitz, West Palm Beach, Fla.; three great granddaughters, Mia Arachikavitz, Mya Arachikavitz and Bryanna Arachikavitz, West Palm Beach, Fla.; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Mrs. Irene Atkinson will be held Wednesday at noon at True Born Church of God in Christ Deliverance Center. Prophet Melvin Bynes, officiating.
Burial: Eastside Cemetery. James R. Barnes Mortuary.
