Funeral services for Ruby Navada Williams Pipkin, 90, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday Feb. 9, at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon with Weldon Miller and Clay Potter officiating.

Burial will follow in Mahoney Cemetery with Joe Ferrell, Frankie Sargent, Wayne Pickrel, Gene Campbell, Rodney Cook and Grady Duncan serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Traughber, Charles Kyle and Wade Miller.

Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 Sunday, Feb. 8, at Mount Venron funeral home.

Mrs. Pipkin died Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Titus County Regional Medical Center in Mount Pleasant.

Ruby Navada Williams Pipkin was born Hopkins County on Nov. 2, 1918, the daughter of Victor Emanuel and Ellen Russell Williams. They preceded her in death.

She married Edgar Lee Pipkin in Hopkins County. He preceded her in death on Oct. 14, 1985.

Mrs. Pipkin was an avid gardner and a homemaker. She was of the Church of Christ faith.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Dewayne Pipkin; one daughter, Lucille Rhoades; three sisters, Velma Lucky, Susie Fitzgerald and Blanche Bell; and two brothers Murray and Aubrey Williams.
