He was an appliance repairman for Sears for 25 years, retiring in 2008, and previously worked for John Deere Harvester Works. An avid NASCAR fan, he was a member of the Riviera Car Club and enjoyed antique cars and he recently donated his model racecar collection to the Tony Stewart Foundation. He also enjoyed traveling in his RV from Alaska to Florida.
Bill is survived by three children, Robert, Beth, and Barb; stepchildren, Christine, Karen, and Stacy; 10 grandchildren; and his sister Bertie Ballou.
He was preceded in death by his wife and stepson, Dennis Hurry.
