Mrs. Horce B. DeLaney (Arrie May), born in LaBelle June 22nd 1896, died in her home on Pondella Rd.(NFM) on Wednesday night. She was born in LaBelle and lived in there until four years ago when she moved to Ft. Myers. Surving her are her husband, Horce B. (Water Turkey) DeLaney; three daughters Mrs. Elmer Cail, Hot Springs, Ark., Mrs. Karl Hedlund, Jr., Tice, Fl., Mrs Tillman Waters, Ft Myers, Fl.; four sisters Mrs. J.F. Mitter, Tampa, FL., Mrs. Frank Messer, LaBelle, Fl., Mrs. Mack Curry, LaBelle, Fl., Mrs. Tom Wilkerson, Clewiston, Fl,. Three brothers Henderson(Bud) May, Lake Wales, Fl. Carl May, Ft. Myers, FL. Matt Crawford, Tampa, Fl. Funeral services will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Leo W. Englehardt funeral home with the Rev. Cartledge officiating. Pallbearers will be members of the Northside Fire Dept., K.J. McStravic, Al Hitzing, Bob McElvey, Howard Sweeney, O. Weaver, and Harold Horne. Interment will be in the Ft. Denaud Cemetery.
