Granville Crawford, 60, a resident of Fort Denaud, died at his home Thursday morning. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gussie Crawford, Fort Denaud; five sisters, Mrs. Lottie Long, Sebring, Mrs. Ruby Crews, Fort Myers Beach, Mrs. Brazzie May, LaBelle, Mrs. G. F. Clifford, Jacksonville, and Mrs. James Home, Estero; two brothers, Tillet Crawford. LaBelle, and Tommy Crawford, Fort Myers; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ralph O'Bannon, LaBelle, and Mrs. Harrel Cross, Fort Myers, and many nieces and nephews. He was a member of the LaBelle Methodist Church and American Legion Post No. 130. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church in LaBelle h Rev. Windell Finkel Jr., officiating. Pallbearers will be Kirby Thompson, Tom Graham, John Ash, Ed O'Bannon, Oliver Murray and Wayne Vaughn. Burial will be in Fort Denaud Cemetery. The American Legion will have charge of services at the cemetery. Arrangements are by Leo W. Engelhardt Funeral Home.
