Mr. Babb was a native of Wilkinson County, but had lived in Baldwin County most of his life. He was the son of the late Clifton Thomas Babb and the late Nancie Bentley Babb. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. A retiree of Central State Hospital, a vice president of Central State Hospital Employees association from 1971 to 1972 and president from 1972 to 1975.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Dunn Babb, a daughter, Bernadette Fortner of Milledgeville, two sons, Kenny Babb Sr. and Kenny Babb Jr. both of Milledgeville, two sisters, Rose Woodall and Linda Lee both of Milledgeville, a brother Joe Babb of Milledgeville and a grandaughter.
