A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS WHO LEAVE A FLOWER FOR MY DADDY ON HIS ANGEL DAY. IT MEANS SO VERY MUCH TO ME. BLESS ALL OF YOU......
My Daddy died when I was only 12 years old. My Daddy had always been my HERO.
He was a farmer, cement finisher, carpenter, husband, father and a friend to all who knew him. He was a 4-H leader for many years. I remember him out behind the old David Bradley tractor plowing the fields, or milking the cow. I remember one time when there was a deer in our orchard and it was hurt and my Dad put it in the barn and nursed it back to health so it could return to it's own habitat. He was a loving caring man.
He had rheumatic fever as a child and when I was 9 years old my Daddy had a stroke and I caught him before he hit the floor. Half of his body was paralyzed for 3 years when another massive stroke took his life. He was only 52. Way to young to be taken away from his family.
My daddy made all of our wooden toys when we were kids, train set, doll house, ferris wheel, rocking horse, desk and chair. My Dad built our home from a grainery to a home as he could afford the lumber. I now live in the home my Daddy built and I was born in. I thank my Daddy every day for the beautiful home, land and even the old fence post down by the creek.
You have been gone for over half a century and I still miss you more than words could ever say. Love you so much Rest in Peace. Esther
