Many years ago, a cousin from one of the younger children of John and Rebecca told me a story about Rebecca. She told me that Rebecca was a very large woman and John had a special carriage built for her and had it specially reinforced to carry her weight. Another story was that John was a traveling preacher and was always talking way too much. One evening, John was out visiting some of his parishioners and talked longer than he should. As the evening got longer and John never came home, it worried Rebecca so that she got all worked up and had a heart attack and died.
