Erected by the Old Guard Association, October 4, 1998, the monumement is dedicated the all those veterans past and present whom served in the 3rd US Army Infantry. The 3rd US Infantry which is stationed at the Fort Myer Military District of Washington D.C., is the escort to the President and conducts all the services related to Arglington National Cemetery. (bio by: John "J-Cat" Griffith)
