Denzil was a son of Doss Arnon Roller and Vesta Verna Watson.
He married Lorraine Joanne Simpson 7 February 1949 at Harrison, Arkansas.
With his wife, Lorraine, he operated Mountain Home Truck Line during the construction of Bull Shoals Dam, supplying goods to the dam site. They sold the truck line in 1952. From 1952 to 1969 they owned and operated the OTASCO Store on the south side of the square. After selling the OTASCO store, they managed a Ramada Inn in Jonesboro, Arkansas for a brief time. In 1972, Lorraine retired while he became Superintendant of the Baxter Memorial Gardens cemetery. During most of his working life he was also in the cattle business, maintaining a farm just west of Mountain Home.
