Mrs. Helen Cookman, 77, died at 10:30am Friday at her home, 1107 w. 4th St., after an extended illness.
She was a lifelong member of the First EUB Church and was the widow of Frank Cookman, who died in 1939.
Survivors include: three daughters, Mrs. Ira Strock, and Mrs. Marvin Wood, both of Anderson, and Miss Mildred Cookman, at home; a son, Paul Cookman, Anderson; a granddaughter, Mrs. John Cummins, Bloomington; and two great-grandchildren, Linda Sue and Bradley Cummins, Bloomington.
Services will be in charge of Dr. H.L. Lanahan.
The body was taken to the Sells and Rowe Funeral Home and will be removed to the family residence, where friends will be received after 3 o'clock this afternoon. Services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the residence, and burial will be in West Maplewood Cemetery.
