Mrs. Certosimo also is survived by her sons, Alfred of Mechanicsville, Va., James of Butler, and Joseph of Tinton Falls; her daughters, Roseanne Timmerman of Little Falls, and Cynthia Sass of Pompton Lakes; her brothers, Edward Rys and Joseph Rys, both of East Rutherford; and nine grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, James.
