|Death: ||Jul. 3, 1872|
Catherine Goggins was born in Rhode Island in 1835.
On 17 February 1852 in Pittsfield Catherine Goggins married Thomas Enright, who had immigrated from Glin, County Limerick, Ireland and would eventually own Enright and Burbank Shoe Store on North Street in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
In 1860 Thomas Enright and wife Catherine Goggins were on the same Census page as his brothers, Michael and John Enright.
Unfortunately Thomas and Catherine Goggins Enright lost several children, namely:
Michael (died age 1),
Catherine (died age 7 years in Feb. 1865),
Anna (died age 5 years also in Feb. 1865),
Thomas E.(died age 5 months),
Catherine Gertrude (died age 10 years).
Of their 3 surviving children:
Ellen A. Enright (1853-1939)lived to her 80s, unmarried.
James J. Enright (1869-1937) never married and was the co-inheritor of his father's shoe store on North Street in Pittsfield. The other co-inheritor of the shoe store was cousin John Henry Enright (my grandfather).
Maria T. Enright (1865-1949) married James H. Tobin. They had one son, James Vincent Tobin, who had one son, Richard L. Tobin. Unfortunately Richard L. Tobin died at age 15 (possibly in the Bronx, New York).
