Casualty of World War I. Corporal, 168th Infantry. Killed in action while trying to assist in removing wounded from the battlefield near Suippes in the Champagne sector. Awarded a citation for exceptional bravery. Buried in Graceland Park Cemetery, June 18, 1922. Son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Frank Redden, 2201 South Royce Street, Sioux City, Iowa.
