Mr. Paul was born Oct. 18, 1917, in Tower City, N.D., to Louis James and Martha (Boehm) Paul.
He was married Sept. 14, 1941, in Derrick, N.D., to Grace (Martinson) Paul, who lives in Colorado Springs.
Mr. Paul is also survived by a daughter of Colorado Springs; a sister, a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
He had been an area resident since 1973, and was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church.
Mr. Paul served in the Navy from 1942 to 1945 as a radar technician. He graduated from Jamestown College in North Dakota with a bachelor of arts degree.
