Mr. Howard was born in Pender County, NC on January 26, 1930, the son of the late John William and Cola Edens Howard. He was the owner and operator of R.C.S. Roof Cleaning Company.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Caison Howard of the home; his two daughter, Renee Howard and Lyn Howard both of the home; three sisters, Dorine Coffee of Willard, Eva Guyew of New York, and Lois Hall of Fayetteville, NC.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 1994, in the Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home the Reverend Adrian Shepard officiated. Burial followed in Oleander Memorial Gardens, Wilmington, NC.
Pallbearers were Jim Hager, Victor Edens, Carrol Edens, Lacy Atkinson, Charles Bell and Greg Taylor.
