A life resident of Barberton, she was a member of Johnson United Methodist Church for 62 years. Dorothy also was a member of Barberton Business Women's Association, Band Boosters, she enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, her bowling league, and was an avid reader.
Preceded in death by brothers, Edward Mackel, John Mackel and sister, Ruth Flanick, she is survived by daughter, Gerry Gaugler of Coventry; grandchildren, Kevin (Bianca) Gaugler of Colorado, Karyn Roharik of Coventry; great-grandchildren, Vanessa, Jonathan, Matthew; sister-in-law, Frances Sulzbach.
