Charles was a resident of the Mason area all his life. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was a farmer in his early years and retired from General Motors after 30 years of service.
Charles loved gardening and yard work. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen "Kay" of 52 years; daughter, Dana (James) Prater, two sons, Scott (Pam), Brian; four grandchildren, Serena (Kipp Dingman) Prater, Tucker Prater, Michael Dolbee, Matthew Dolbee; great-grandson, Tanner Dingman; sister-in-law, Joan Binkowski; brother-in-law William (Sandra) Bowen and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Mason, MI.
