Funeral for Sadie Garnett Barrett, 91, of Decatur will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. William Compton officiating.
Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Barrett died Friday, May 18, 2001, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born May 28, 1909, in Decatur to Arthur and Fannie Garnett. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Grace Baptist Church. She was the widow of Ray Barrett.
Survivors include two daughters, Joy Nicholson of Huntsville and Malinda Leopard of Somerville, two grandsons, and two great-granddaughters.
Deacons of Albany Baptist Church will be pallbearers.
