According to marriage records I have found, Patterson's first wife was Romilla Blain. They married 21 Feb 1846 in Lorain County, Ohio. They had two children, Louisa (1847-1916) and Wilson K. (1850-1909). Romilla died in 1854 but I am not sure where she is buried.
